PROJECT EUREKA! 4990 SIMCARD

EUREKA

Project Eureka! 4990 SIMCARD - "Cardiovascular Imaging, Modelling And Simulation", has been officially approved.

The project, which aims at the development, analysis and simulation of mathematical models for the cardiovascular system, is coordinated by CEMAT (Instituto Superior Tecnico) and has CMCS (EPFL) and ICES (University of Texas at Austin) as partners.

The internationally recognised EUREKA label adds value to the project and gives participants a competitive edge in their dealings with financial, technical and commercial partners. EUREKA is a pan-European network for market-oriented, industrial R&D, which aims to enhance European competitiveness through its support to businesses, research centres and universities who carry out pan-European projects. Through its flexible and decentralised Network, EUREKA offers project partners rapid access to a wealth of knowledge, skills and expertise across Europe and facilitates access to national public and private funding schemes.

The complex thematics involved in the project demands a collective expertise and involve a close connection between mathematics, scientific computing and clinical experiments. For more information click HERE.
